Workshop Focus
Learn computer repair skills to refurbish devices for donation to underserved groups. Our hands-on workshops teach practical techniques for fixing and upgrading computers while making a positive impact in our community. No experience necessary!
What to Expect
- • Hands-on computer repair and refurbishment
- • Learning about hardware components and troubleshooting
- • Software installation and system optimization
- • Device testing and quality assurance
- • Community impact through device donations
Getting There
Our space is about a 10-minute drive from campus. Here are three ways to get there:

BH Ride: Message our Instagram/Slack or email

- Our regular pick-up spot is at 1910 Orrington Ave in Evanston (directly across from Foster, 1 block from the arch)
- If you need us to pick you up somewhere else (e.g. Tech), let us know and we will make that happen!

Uber/Lyft: We will pay for Ubers/Lyfts to the space if we are not able to drive you. Message our chapter's Instagram/Slack or email

and we can either:
- Order you an Uber, OR;
- Reimburse you: Order one with your account and send a receipt to nu@binaryheart.org along with either your Venmo or Zelle and we will reimburse you within 24 hours.

Public Transportation - 2 options:

Bus: Take the 201 Line to the Ridge & Hull Terrace stop and walk 5 minutes (2 blocks) to the other end of Hull Terrace.
View CTA 201 Map - Train: Take the Purple Line to South Boulevard. Message our chapter's Instagram/Slack account or email us and a club leader will pick you up (or we will get you an Uber - the walk is about 25 minutes but drive is about 4 minutes)
